2006 chevy trailblazer ac vents not working.
Turn car on and don't touch the HVAC controls (should automatically come on at like 74). This causes all of the actuators to cycle through their positions while the controller re-learns. If the controller lost the positioning of the diverter actuator, this would re-learn it and possibly fix the issue.

When the truck is shut off the gauge goes well past full. I just filled the tank to run the Techron fuel system cleaner, the gauge read slightly over the "F" full mark and took 10.5 gallons. Here are two pics with the full tank of gas. With the truck NOT running see the gauge reading Full. And for some reason, even when my right AC knob is turned all the way to the left (which should be dash vents only) it blows air from both the vents on the dash >and< the floor vents.And sometimes, when the knob gets turned back and forth to change modes it wont actually turn the dash vents on at all.It will ONLY blow thru the floor vents.Teddy from Bob's Burger finds out why the air conditioner is not blowing out of the AC vents on his work van. I have the same issue in my 2006 envoy xl. The only issue I have is the middle actuator seams to not have a white gear in it when I pull it off. If I pull the white gear off the actuator it fits perfectly on the metal post. I then recalibrate it and the air blows out the defrost as it always did and moves to the floor for a couple seconds.

I just fixed the same problem on my trailblazer. I agree that it is the actuator. If it has dual climate control, there are 4 actuators on the trailblazer 1 is for the blend door on the driver side - this controls the temperature on the drivers side by positioning a door which controls the percentage of hot air vs cold air coming through the ductsThis is a common problem on the Trailblazer.
